Description

Mentoring is a year long course. Mentoring classes spread over 3 terms. Autumn, Spring and Summer.

You will choose your own projects to develop with guidance, feedback and mentoring from Susan Chapman.

Susan will still be able to teach new ideas and techniques, but you can use the time as you choose - it is your time for you. If you want anything specifically prepared before a class then please email Susan inp plenyt of time so she can get resources, or equipment ready for you.

These sessions are not limited to working with dyes or any particularl technique and you do not need to have studied on Susan’s long courses previously.

You can dedicate the session to design or stitching if you wish. Or you may still want to use the opportunity to work in a wet space, rather than work at home!Mentoring is a year-long programme, divided into three bookable terms: Autumn, Spring and Summer.

These sessions are for people who are ready to develop their own projects, but would value regular guidance, feedback and support from Susan Chapman. You will choose the direction of your work, with Susan helping you to develop ideas, resolve practical questions and build confidence in your own creative process.

Susan may introduce new ideas or techniques where useful, but the focus is on your own work. You can use the time for design, stitching, dyeing, development work, or simply to make use of a wet working space away from home.

The sessions are not limited to any one technique, and you do not need to have taken one of Susan’s longer courses before. If there is something specific you would like Susan to prepare for a session, please email her in plenty of time so that any resources or equipment can be made ready.Mentoring is a year-long programme, divided into three bookable terms:
