Sue says ' For me, a day without embroidering is almost as unthinkable as a day without breathing. A certain amount of obssessive addiction is very nearly the only way to produce a volume of work as a hand embroiderer, given the slow nature of the work. It is this slow pace, this contemplative, restful quality of hand embroidery that I love so much'
