Description
A two-day masterclass for students with some previous experience of ecoprinting.
Working with a selection of different fabrics, participants will explore the ecoprinting process in greater depth, including which leaves produce the best results and how different leaf treatments can affect the final print.
Students will also work with a variety of mordants, learning how these can radically alter colour, clarity and overall outcomes.
By the end of the two days, students should leave with a strong collection of samples, a deeper understanding of the process, and ideas for how to develop the techniques further in their own work.
Caroline provides all equipment, mordants and dyes. Students will need to bring their own fabric.
