Granary Studio - Policies

(the small print)

Booking and Cancellations
for workshops, courses and events

  1. If you need to cancel your place, contact Granary Studio as soon as possible.

  2. If you cancel 29 days or more before the workshop start date, you will receive a refund less a £10 administration fee.

  3. If you cancel less than 29 days before the workshop start date, no refund will be given.

  4. You may transfer your place to another person, but you must let Granary Studio know in advance and provide the replacement attendee's details.

  5. Non-attendance, late arrival or leaving a workshop early does not entitle you to a refund.

  6. If illness or unexpected circumstances prevent you from attending, Granary Studio will always try to be fair and reasonable, but the cancellation terms above still apply.

Booking Terms & Conditions
for workshops, courses and events

  1. Your place is confirmed once payment has been received.

  2. The workshop fee covers tuition and any items clearly listed as included in the workshop description. It does not include lunch, travel, accommodation or personal materials unless stated.

  3. Course details, including dates, times, tutor, materials and what to bring, are shown on the individual workshop page. Check these before booking and again before attending.

  4. If you have any access needs, dietary restrictions or other requirements that may affect your time with us, let us know in advance so we can do our best to help.

  5. Granary Studio may make small changes to workshop details where needed, for example to timings, materials or practical arrangements. If a significant change is needed, we will contact booked participants as soon as possible.

  6. Granary Studio reserves the right to cancel a workshop if necessary, including where there are not enough bookings, tutor illness, unsafe weather or circumstances beyond our control. If Granary Studio cancels a workshop, you will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to another suitable workshop where available. Granary Studio is not responsible for travel, accommodation or other costs connected with attending a workshop.

RETURNS

  1. Workshop bookings are places on dated courses or classes, not physical goods. There is no item to return.

  2. If you can no longer attend, the Cancellation and Refund Policy above applies.

  3. Any materials or products bought separately from the Granary Studio shop are covered by the shop returns policy, not the workshop cancellation policy.

e-Gift Card Terms

Last updated: June 2026

These terms apply to Granary Studio gift cards (e-gift cards).

  1. Granary Studio gift cards can be used towards eligible Granary Studio courses purchased through our website.

  2. Gift cards are valid for 24 months from the date of purchase. The expiry date will be shown on the gift card or gift card email. Any unused balance must be used before the expiry date.

  3. Gift cards can be used in full or in part. If the value of the gift card is less than the total course cost, the remaining balance can be paid using another accepted payment method.

  4. If the value of the gift card is more than the course cost, the remaining balance will remain on the gift card and can be used towards another eligible purchase before the expiry date.

  5. Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash.

  6. Gift cards cannot be used to buy another gift card.

  7. Gift cards are issued by email. The purchaser is responsible for entering the correct recipient email address and delivery details. Granary Studio is not responsible if a gift card is sent to the wrong email address because incorrect details were provided at the time of purchase.

  8. Please treat gift card codes carefully. Granary Studio is not responsible for lost, deleted, stolen or misused gift card codes unless this is due to an error by Granary Studio.

  9. Gift cards may only be used for Granary Studio courses and services made available for gift card redemption. They do not guarantee a place on any particular course. Course places are subject to availability.

  10. If a course booked using a gift card is cancelled by Granary Studio, we will offer a suitable alternative, restore the value to the gift card, or make other fair arrangements with you.

  11. If you cancel a course booked using a gift card, the normal course cancellation and refund policy will apply. Where a refund is due, it will normally be returned to the gift card or handled in another suitable way agreed by Granary Studio.

  12. Gift card purchases may be cancelled or refunded within any statutory cancellation period only if the gift card has not been used in whole or in part. Once a gift card has been redeemed, it cannot usually be refunded.

  13. Gift cards must not be resold, copied, altered or used for unauthorised commercial purposes.

  14. Granary Studio may refuse a gift card if we reasonably believe it has been copied, stolen, fraudulently obtained, misused or otherwise used in breach of these terms.

  15. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

If you have any questions about gift cards, please contact: info@granarystudio.com
