An opportunity to discover the basics of ecoprinting in spring. A two day workshop.

Ecoprinting is the process of permanently printing leaves onto fabric and paper using heat and moisture. Working mainly on silk, students will create a series of samples and learn a variety of wrapping techniques.

The class will also explore how different mordants, or fixers, can produce different results. The aim is for everyone to leave with a good understanding of the basic process, the ability to achieve consistent, attractive prints, and the confidence to continue experimenting at home.
