Description
A slow hand-stitching workshop exploring what to do with the ecoprinted fabric pieces that often accumulate over time, and how to begin stitching into them.
Students will assemble smaller pieces into a larger whole, using careful cutting, rearranging and hand stitching to construct a cloth that can be further embellished and developed.
This class is suitable for both beginners and experienced stitchers. Plenty of advice and instruction will be offered to help students move their work forward.
The cloth is not expected to be completed within the two days, but students will leave with a clear direction and a piece that can be continued at home. We may also discuss the possibility of an ongoing Facebook group for sharing progress, ideas and tips.
